Harvest at Ovation,
the honest read.

Taylor Morrison's 215-lot neighborhood in Ovation, marketed as one of the last new developments in Horizon West — which is both an honest scarcity argument and a sales line worth testing.

The honest read

Harvest is a compact neighborhood by Horizon West standards — 215 homesites rather than the thousands in the older master plans — and the planned amenity list leans natural rather than resort: a pool and cabana, a certified butterfly garden, nature play, a dog park and trails. For buyers who find the big amenity centres overbuilt and over-dued, that is a feature.

The scarcity claim deserves scrutiny rather than dismissal. Horizon West genuinely is filling in, and the supply of unbuilt land inside the villages is finite. But "one of the last" has been said in this corridor before, and the practical question for you is narrower: does this phase have the lot you want, and what happens to your resale when the next parcel two miles west opens anyway.

Two builders operating in one community is worth using. Taylor Morrison and RockWell are not identical on included specification, warranty administration or incentive appetite, and they are competing for the same walk-in traffic. Shop them against each other and against Westhaven and Lake Star in the same master plan.

Harvest at Ovation questions

How much do homes at Harvest at Ovation cost?

Published pricing starts around $503,999 as of September 2026, with homes ranging roughly 1,992 to 3,101 square feet. That figure is a base price before lot premium, structural options and design selections, and builders revise it without notice — confirm current pricing and incentives directly with Taylor Morrison or RockWell.

Is Harvest at Ovation really one of the last Horizon West communities?

Land inside the Horizon West villages is finite and the corridor is well along in its build-out, so the direction of the claim is fair. Treat it as context rather than urgency: the decision that matters is whether this phase has the homesite and plan you want at a payment you have verified.

What amenities are planned?

The marketed amenity program includes a pool with cabana, a National Wildlife Federation certified butterfly garden, a nature play space, a dog park and walking trails. Amenities that are planned rather than built are not contractual — ask for delivery dates in writing and price the home as if they arrive late.

Two builders are here — does that change anything for me?

It works in your favour if you use it. Included features, warranty handling and current incentives differ between Taylor Morrison and RockWell, and both are selling into the same community. Having representation shop both, plus the neighbouring Ovation communities, is where the money is made on a new build.
